    This was the first firearm that I ever used, and I will never let go of it! I learned to shoot with this gun, and I have taught several others to shoot with the very same matched pair.

    The fiber-optic sights were dead on right out of the box, but I put a little rimfire scope on the .22 barrel for peepin' up into the trees when I went squirrel hunting. GREAT gun for teaching a beginner to take their time and make the first shot count! Reload takes a second or two, and most squirrels run off and hide if ya miss the first shot.

    And the 20 gauge barrel performs like a champ, too! I still use it for all kinds of small game, and even used it the first couple times I shot trap.

    All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better first gun, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone getting a friend, or their youngster into hunting and/or shooting sports!

    pick up this for my boy its a little hevey for a young shooter but they will grow into it. nice and hevey duty can handal the abuse of a young shooter as well. also can be shot by adults as well the 20 gage shot gun kicks like a mull and you better be ready to catch the little one when they fire it for the first time
    we have sever thounds round of 22lr from cheepo bulk to hot hyper volicity thure it with no sings of wear

    well the rossi 22/20gauge matched pair is a great gun it is easy to load easy to clean.This year i got my son one of then and he shot rabbits squrrel with it and a nace ten point buck.The twenty two is accurate at ranges out to one hundred yards. The twenty gauge has nice range and holds a tight pattern good for rabbit,squarrel,dove,. Great hunting rifle and shotgun.
