Product Description
While not suited for the dirt and grime of combat, the Canadian-designed Ross Rifle proved to be an extremely accurate firearm. Based on the Mauser design, the Ross Rifle is considered to be the most accurate general issue mass produced service pattern rifle ever made. All Ross rifles are straight pull, manually operated, magazine fed repeaters. The Mark II variation features the unique Harris controlled platform magazine. The sporterized version of the Model 1905, calibered for .303 British ammunition, was produced in very limited quantities. This rifle features a sturdy walnut stock and a 24-inch blued barrel with fixed open sights. Its wood and metal are in fair condition and its bore is in good condition.
