Comments about Ronix Parks Impact Wakeboard Vest:

This review is mostly a comparison between the Ronix Parks Impact Vest and the Liquid Force Watson Comp. The bottom line up front: These vests are very different.
The Parks is a little stiffer, only very slightly heavier (has slightly thicker foam), and appears to be better for flotation than the Watson – actually doesn't seem far away from being a CGA vest. Both are comfortable and fit well overall. By comparison the Parks feels like it might ride up a little compared to the Watson but on the other hand really feels like it could do what the name says and provide good impact protection. The Parks vest outside is finished in the slick rubber neoprene just like the previous (rear zip) model - it's hard to tell in the photos. I really like the length of both vests. My chest size is about 41" below the arm pits and I have a 32" waist measured where your board shorts ride. I purchased the Parks in L and XL and the Watson in M and L. WRT the Parks, the Large fit best, no need for the XL. The Watson Medium and Large felt identical so one could have been mismarked. Both fit perfect. The Watson is nice and stretchy, has a perfect tapered fit for me, is a little more comfortable, but much more difficult to get on and off. Quality on both looks good but time will tell. I kept the Watson based on fit and comfort. I have an old Ronix One rear-zip vest which fell apart rapidly and did not provide near enough flotation - the Watson looks like it will be much better hopefully on both counts. It was a tough choice though. The Parks is a very nice vest and I may regret not keeping it for the impact protection and ease of getting it on and off.
