        Comments about Overton's Roller Shaft, 5/8" x 9-1/4":

When I read the other reviews on these rollers I noticed everyone said the pressed on caps didn't work very well. I modified them slightly. Instead of using the caps I had holes drilled close to the end of the shafts and used a large washer and cotter pin to keep them in place. it's working great.

The rod is fine. The cap nuts are flimsy. When they are pressed on the rod, the do not stay on. Now they have to be pressed on with an adhesive. Good luck getting them off next time!

              I bought 2 rollers & the shaft roller w/caps.
The caps would not stay on, tried various method but would not hold.
Better off with either a threaded end w/bolts & washers or cotter pins w/washers. I ended up with drilling holes at both ends & using washers & cotter pins
