      Comments about Overton's Roller Shaft, 5/8" x 11-1/8":

      The shaft is fine but pall nuts are always a problem. If you can find a shaft that uses cotter pins that works better, but I suggest a bolt with locking nut and washer.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        Comments about Overton's Roller Shaft, 5/8" x 11-1/8":

        I bought this only because I lost one of the metal endcaps off my existing pin causing me to loose the rubber endcap off my roller as well. I couldn't find the metal endcaps locally so I bought this whole new pin. I installed the new pin and lightly tapped the new endcaps on with a rubber mallet. They went on tight, but easily worked their way loose. They would not stay on tight, either one. I even pulled them off and pushed the tabs back in so they would "bite" but to to avail. No installation instructions, so perhaps it is user error. I ended up welding a washer on one end drilling a hole on the other end to attach another washer and a cotter pin so I won't loose it again.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
