Comments about Rivers Edge Treestands Rivers Edge Lite Foot Hang-on Treestand:

Putting in the "screw-in" steps is a pain, but once they're in it's very secure. The stand is very sturdy and doesn't move once in place. The seat cushion is super comfortable and stays really warm; almost like one of those therma-seats. The safety harness included is also very secure and comfortable. I'm 6'3" and would've liked the platform to be just a little bit bigger for my long legs. The only down side is not being able to move stand location like you can with a climber. For a hang-on tree stand, you can't beat it!

Very Good Stand and Good Value

Comments about Rivers Edge Treestands Rivers Edge Lite Foot Hang-on Treestand:

I was looking for an inexpensive tree stand that meets my criteria that I've developed over years of hunting and sitting in tree stands. I prefer an aluminum stand, mesh platform, built in foot rest, large flip up seat, fairly wide to move around and the post being far enough apart so the cables do not rub against your legs. I stand about 70% of the time and I like to stand at the back of the stand with my back to the tree. I like a stand that has the cables far enough apart so you can stand between them and the Lite Foot does. I've sat in the seat for about a half hour on one sitting and it was very comfortable. This stand is long enough for me and being tall (6'3") when I use the foot rest my legs and knee's are level. Since I rest my crossbow, muzzleloader, rifle or shotgun in my lap I do not have to hold onto them since they do not slide forward. I prefer mesh platforms over slats, built in foot rest over the noisy folding style and the Lite Foot has the built in. Plus you can push the seat between the foot rest when carrying it and it helps with eliminating noise. This stand is a grey / black speckle stand and it blends in very well when attached to a tree. The only negative for me, which I did not list as a con because it is a positive to some, is the strap is attached to one side (sewn into post bracket) and I prefer one that isn't. As long as I hang the stand to my left I don't have a problem with cinching the strap but hanging it to my right I have to reach around the tree to tighten it. A small tree is less of a problem but a larger tree poses a problem sometimes. I have not found the perfect tree stand but the Lite Foot is closest to what my criteria for a stand is.

That would include just the stand. (Not the climbing sticks)
