    I assembled this with the help of a friend. In the woods I was able to carry it to my location alone in 2 trips. I got it up on the tree alone but felt safer using the top ratchet strap with a friend. I purchased a ratchet strap for the mid stabilizer bar and now it is a very sturdy stand. I am a big guy and the harness is a bit small but very well constructed. In all you cannot buy a better quality stand for the money. Platform is a bit small for a bow hunter if taking a standing shot. Use a harness and happy hunting!

    Really comfortable stand for long periods of time,A great stand for the money and the pivot idea was great.The safety harness is of top quality. The shooting arm is great for cross bows and rifles. The only thing is that I replaced the ropes with ratchet straps it just makes the stand a little more sturdy.The back rest is good but you need to spray it with a silicone sray if you leave it outdoors for weeks on end.Just couldn't be more happy'

      I purchased this stand, upon assembly found holes missing. Also, after assembling the chair portion, i tried to do a test fit before i took it to the woods. The legs that come off the seat portion were twisted inward so bad i could not get the first section of the ladder on. Mind you, i follwed the instructions completely, only tightening bolts when it said too. I then tried to loosen the seat part of the stand up to get the ladder to fit, and the ladder still would not go on. Very poor quality.

      Difficult to put up by yourself, but can be done. It would be easier to adjust to the tree with an adjustable stabilizer bar. The height and weight can be a factor of fitting it to the tree.

        Great tree stand for the price and the construction of it. My dad and I put one up this fall for bow hunting and removed the shooting bar so it does not get in your way. It has side rails so you don't slide off the side. Small platform but it works well for me for bow hunting and gun hunting. 5/5 for comfort comes with a good harness probley the best one that will come with a tree stand. I give it a 4 out of 5 because you have to remove your seat and back rest coushion at the end of each hunt if you want them to last a long time so it is not exposed to weather .
