Product Description
remington Remington Thunderbolt ammunition delivers the quality you expect at a surprising value. That's because they put the same level of care into making their rimfire ammunition as we do their centerfire ammunition, so you'll get the maximum performance from every shot. Whether it's getting young shooters started, practice plinking, small-game hunting, or keeping match shooters scoring high, Remington's rimfire quality stands tall. Remington puts the maximum level of quality into their .22s so you can get the maximum performance out of them. These 4000 rounds are packaged in a durable latching ammo case for convenient carry.

Comments about Remington Thunderbolt Ammo with 4000-Round Ammo Case, .22 LR, 40 Grain:

I have a Walther p22, two rugers, a S&W M&P 22 AR and nothing else fires in those but the thunderbolts. Yes it does cause more deposits in the weapon...but they have to be cleaned anyway. Never had a failure to fire with these like I have winchester. I have ran through thousands of rounds with this stuff and have not had any problems with it. Cant beat the stuff if youre just going to go shoot some targets with it.

Comments about Remington Thunderbolt Ammo with 4000-Round Ammo Case, .22 LR, 40 Grain:

This ammo is a great value, but after you put a few rounds through the chamber, you will get significant build up in the barrel. Nothin a quick pull of the bore snake wont fix!

Comments about Remington Thunderbolt Ammo with 4000-Round Ammo Case, .22 LR, 40 Grain:

This stuff is _terrible_. Do a quick search online for remington thunderbolt, it's apparently common knowledge (except to me, oops) how bad it is.

irregular powder loads, so precision is a joke.
Terrible priming, so they don't shoot reliably.
Poor bullet sizing, so some of them bounce around the barrel, others drag, both leave massive lead deposits in the barrel
Worst, I had more squibs than with anything I've ever shot. That can just be dangerous.

At this time you can get CCI for $119/1600; you'd be far better off buying a couple boxes of the CCI; you'd get more actual bangs for your buck.
