        One shot in the shoulder of a 200# doe at 40 yards. She went right down with my Mossburg 20 ga. pump and rifled barrel with scope. My gun prefers the Rem. 3 shot group touching at 100 yards from a secure gun rest.

          plain and simple this slug knocks the [*] out of deer. I shot two bucks so far with this shell each deer dropped dead on the spot at 20yrds, when gutting the deer the insides were jelly. i now prefer hunting deer with my rem 870 with this shell over my hunting rifle. Only downside is price is very high, but you only need one shot for a kill.

          When I bought my new slug gun (Remington 870, rifled barrel, Leopold Shotgun Scope) I bought 2 boxes of every sabot that I could find at gander mnt to find the best pattern. I shot off a lead sled to ensure best results. This slug out preformed all others. With the horanday sst look similar but I got a lot of "flyers ", 2 good shots one 1 foot away from the group. At 100 yards I had a 1.2 three shot group and 150 yards I had 2.4 three shot group. I had a one shot kill on a doe at 12 yards and another one shot kill on a 10 point buck at 120 yards. Remember every slug shoots different in every gun.
