I tried 6 or 8 different sabots through my 1187 Rem. 20 Ga. using a Caldwell Lead Sled, several shot fair groups with occasional strays; Federals with the Barnes-X-Pander were exceptionally dirty & inconsistant, So I tried the 3in. 20Ga. Remington Accu-Tips, They are by far the BEST. So far this year I shot 3 times for 3 very clean quick kills, EXCELLENT ROUND!!

slugs were just as accurate out of my cantilever 870 barrel at 50yds as the sst, however when sighted in at 2" high at 50 yds the sst were dead on at 100yds and these rem's dropped over 7" inches. I tested these in another gun and had the same result maybe i had a bad lot number but 7" to 8" of drop between 50 and 100yds is unacceptable, with that kind of trajectory i would stick with 3" sluggers and get the same results, stick with the sst or federal barnes

This product is very hard to find in stores and also online. I tried several different stores but Gander Mountain was the only place I could find them. They were also shipped to me very fast. I couldn't ask for better service!

Comments about Remington Premier AccuTip Bonded Sabot Slug, 12-ga., 2-3/4", 385-gr:
Several deer over the last few years with this round. One doe managed to run just shy of thirty yards, all others flopped making it ten paces. When I have the option, over my rifles or muzzeloaders, I choose my 11-87 with this round. Dead deer from 80 to 120 yards... from personal experience.

Didnt get to put my 695 slug gun to the ultimate test on last hunt in Ohio. I do like the shells but dont yet know about damage, knockdown etc. I expect it to be good.
