Product Description
remington An advanced, highly lethal blend of accuracy, fast followups and light recoil, the Model R-25 is everything varmint and predator hunters love about Remington's R-15 in a beefed-up design that easily handles cartridges suitable for big-game hunting. For peak accuracy, its precision-crafted 20" ChroMoly barrel is freefloated within the machined aluminum fore-end tube. Six longitudinal flutes forward of the gas block keep weight to a minimum and facilitate rapid heat dissipation. The barrel also features a recessed hunting crown to protect the rifling and aid in more consistent bullet flight. When it's time to make the shot, the R-25's ergonomic pistol-grip gives you unmatched control and rock-steady aim. Modified for the hunting market, the traditional two-stage trigger found on AR-platform rifles has been exchanged for a crisp, single-stage version that comes from the factory set at 4-1/2 to 5 lbs. Its carefully tuned upper and lower are machined from rugged aluminum forgings. The entire gun is dressed in Mossy Oak Treestand camo that makes it virtually invisible in the field. Includes front and rear swivel studs, a 4-round magazine, and a lockable hard case.

Comments about Remington Model R-25 Centerfire Rifle:

gun shoots excellent, I shoot 140 gr, h.p.b.t. reloads, and got 3 inch pattern at 300 yds. with a slight wind and resting on the tailgate which I thought was excellent for a 20 inch barel semi auto. I have a bushnell d.o.a. scope and the bullet drop hits each mark at least out to 300 yds. I havent got to shoot it any farther yet.
took it boar hunting and a couple of pigs ran by and bang bang got two. One con is the fore grip is made out of alluminum and when you walk through the brush the branches hitting it makes a little bit of noise.
never had one misfire you have to let the bolt slam home so it can close properly and you wont have any problems, although it is hard to manually eject the shell in the bolt once in a while.
