Product Description
remington Born of gunmaking expertise that brought you the best-selling, most trusted shotgun of all time, the Model 870, the Model 887 Nitro Mag is an armor-clad warrior here to carry the torch of Remington's great pump-gun legacy through the most extreme conditions on earth. The most durable and reliable shotgun ever built, the 887 has no external surfaces to rust. Remington's exclusive ArmorLokt construction process seals the receiver and barrel in a vault of weather-impervious synthetic armor, so you can wipe it down with your wet dog or a decoy bag at the end of the day. Its overmolded surface is built to withstand abrasion in the trenches, whether that's barbed wire, gnarly thorns, or the bottom of a Jon boat. And when it's time for action, the revolutionary SuperCell recoil pad so effectively reduces rearward force that it makes a 3" mag 12-gauge feel like a light field load. Featuring a 28" barrel with a solid rib and a Hi-Viz front sight with interchangeable fiber-optic light tubes to maximize visibility for the conditions, the Model 887 Nitro Mag handles 12-gauge 2-3/4", 3", and 3-1/2" loads interchangeably. Like the Model 870, the receiver of the 887 is manufactured from solid steel, and the barrel is hammer-forged, ensuring strength and longevity. The Model 887 Nitro Mag Waterfowl Camo is dressed from butt to bore in vivid, high-detail Advantage MAX-4 HD camouflage and comes with an extended Over Decoys Rem Choke that's optimized for non-toxic waterfowl loads.

Comments about Remington Model 887 Nitro Mag Waterfowl Shotgun:

I hunt ducks and geese with it constantly. Used it and limited out the first time i used it. And only time it jammed was when i had the chamber back and pulled forward as i pulled the trigger. The pattern with this gun is literally disgusting. You can switch out the beads and take the back bead off if youd like to. The recoil pad literally helps so mcuh. I do not feel anythig no matter what i shoot through it. When i shoot a 2 3/4 it feels like a .22. Feels great in my hands, I love it! You feel tripple off the kick when you shoot a beneli nova. My friend has the nova and my gun kicked 3 times less than his. Such a Great Gun!

Comments about Remington Model 887 Nitro Mag Waterfowl Shotgun:

yesterday was the first time i took out the gun. i bought it about a week ago. i went skeet shooting and i havent shot in years and thought it would go bad and would be a waste. suprisingly though the first 5 shots i hit and it was smooth and 100% on target and very easy to shoot. i let my brothers shoot it and we were switching it around between 5 different shotguns( pump and semi auto) and this gun was by far the easiest just to pick up and shoot and be accurate after not shooting in years. i WOULD recommend this gun to anyone. love the gun and cant wait for dear season to come around so i can try it out in the feild and not just skeet shooting. overall i love the gun

Comments about Remington Model 887 Nitro Mag Waterfowl Shotgun:

I really like this gun. I don't have to worry about rust since it's waterproof. I use 3 1/2 inch shells when shooting ducks, geese, and turkeys but don't have to worry about recoil since it has a good pad. The only thing I don't like about it is the raised rib.
