Product DescriptionWith continually evolving designs, rugged dependability, great pointing characteristics and versatility, the Model 870 has been the standard for slide-action performance for almost 60 years. Beneath the no-nonsense, ready-for-work exterior of the Model 870 Express lies the same quality, precision, and dependability that you'll find in Remington's legendary Model 870 Wingmaster, but at a much more affordable price. Like all Model 870 shotguns, this workhorse features a receiver milled from a solid billet of steel for maximum strength and reliability. The silky-smooth twin action bars prevent binding and twisting so that you'll always have the chance to get off a second shot.
Exclusive 2-7x32MM scoped package with fully rifled 23" cantilevered barrel on a synthetic thumbhole stock.

Q:does this model have a removeable barrel so I can substitute a turkey barrel or does it have a pinned non-removeable barrel?Asked on 9/9/2010 by cyclonedog from SE, PA
A:870s have interchangable barrels. i have 2 one is a super magnum (3 1/2") chamber, and this one (3") chamber. the smooth (aka turkey)barrel is usually less expensive than the canteliver rifled that comes with this setup. just get the smooth barrel and a super full choke tube and your ready .Answered on 9/30/2010 by vantman from peoria ,Il
A:It is removeable, the scope is attached to the barrel also so you dont have to constantly sight your gun in all over when you switch the barrel back to the slug barrel.Answered on 3/27/2011 by Gigantor from Pittsburgh, PA

A:shotguns differ alot in range for me i use a 20 gauge mossberg and i can make very good shots up to 300 yards with it so it would depend on the hunter and the scopeAnswered on 5/20/2010 by matt from barstown, ca
Q:Is there a price difference in a right handed and left handed model and are LH models in stock at all locations.Asked on 3/10/2010 by Mike from Kenosha WI
A:I am 99% sure that they don't make a left handed model for this gun. i am left handed and when I bought mine i could not find one. I just had a left handed safety installed, that is the only mod I could make for this gun. It has a poweful ejection so the shells won't hit your arm.Answered on 3/26/2010 by smoser from Rochester, NY
