The rifle seems to be good, but I really can't tell because of the inferior quality of the scope. I fired twenty rounds of 150 grain Remington core-loct bullets and never could get it on target. The first and second time I fired the rifle the scope hit me on the bridge of the nose and cut my nose twice. The scope does not have enough eye relief for this rifle. In order to see the whole field of view you have to get too close to the scope for a rifle with that much recoil. I was shooting at an eighteen inch target and, right out of the box, I was completely missing the target. Once I did hit the target, I could not get the setup to repeat. It's like the recoil of the rifle would knock the adjustment of the scope out.
To put it in a nutshell, this scope is not good enough for a rifle with that much recoil. I will not recommend this combination to anyone. In fact, I will try to keep anyone who is interested in buying a new rifle and scope combination, to buy something else. THIS ONE IS TERRIBLE!

The gun was not as accurate as I would have hoped out of the box. I had to fire several shots to get it sighted in. The bolt action was sticky at first and needed to be broken in. Overall good gun for the price.
