The Remington Model 710 is an affordable, high-performance bolt-action centerfire rifle manufactured in Mayfield, KY. Using the trusted Model 700 as a starting point, Remington's engineers designed a highly innovative rifle that was ahead of its time in many ways. The 710 starts with a highly accurate button-rifled barrel and a floating bolt head that lets the three locking lugs seat uniformly in their recesses when under pressure, automatically achieving the unstressed alignment sought in gunsmith blueprinted actions and expensive bench-rest actions. These locking logs attach directly to the barrel, absorbing pressure and keeping the 710's weight-reducing plastic internal parts from feeling stress, even after prolonged fire. This rifle features a Bushnell 3-9x40mm scope and a 2-position safety. Its stock and bore are in very good condition and its metal is in good condition.
