Bought a .243 a few years ago. Incredible long range accuracy, can easily hit small targets 300-600+ yards.

1/4 to 1/2" MOA at 100 yds is really easy to achieve. Definitely purchase glass with a lot of magnification bc you can specific spots on animals or targets deep.

Had the trigger pull reduced, it's absolutely my most accurate gun. The gun is accurate enough to shoot further distances i just haven't had the opportunity yet.

I've got one of these in a 22-250. With a trigger job and a GOOD padded sling (it's a heavy beast), this is an all-around useful beauty! I've taken everything from squirrels to 400 lb feral hogs with it with no problems. It consistently shoots 1/4 -1/2 inch groups at 100 yards. Don't scrimp on your glass, buy a good scope because this thing will do it all!!

I have this gun in 243 win and it just ROCKS !
I bought this gun back in 1999 and still love every aspect of this rifle. This gun shoots as well if not better than it looks , and it looks like a million bucks.The only things I have done to this rifle are lightened the trigger to a couple of ounces and had to sand a couple spots on the stock bed because of a little vibration when I fired .The stock was just barely touching causing the problem and after that it has been the best long rang varmint rifle I have ever owned.

I used this gun for prairie dogs and target shooting. It is perfect or this right out of the box. I adjusted the trigger pull and that helped. I was shooting 1/2 MOA at 100 yards. Free floated the barrel and it would not shot that good after. If you get it that is the only thing I don't recommend. 22-250 does the job for my little targets but Ii haven't tried it on anything bigger.
