Product Description

The 700 features a receiver machined from solid-steel bar stock resulting in uniformity and strength and a recessed bolt face that locks up inside the counter-bored breech of the barrel, which is surrounded by the receiver, forming "three-rings-of-steel" that enclose the cartridge case head for unparalleled strength. The Model 700 ADL features an improved, ergonomically designed synthetic stock for better handling and enhanced overall functionality. This shorter youth rifle features a Realtree Hardwoods HD synthetic stock. The rifle is calibered for .243 Winchester ammunition and includes a 3-9x40MM scope that has been mounted and bore sighted.All exterior metalwork features a matte blued finish.

            Very impressed with this rifle. Lighter than I expected, and very well built. Only one problem-the scope is a piece of junk. Barely 1" of eye relief, and the mounts are flimsy. You would think a company like Remington would put a better scope on this thing. Shot it 5 times, scope is now off and getting a new scope on as we speak.
