Product Description
remington The Model 700 is the most popular, reliable, accurate and trusted bolt-action rifle in the world, with over five million rifles produced and billions of rounds fired over nearly five decades. The 700 features a receiver machined from solid-steel bar stock resulting in uniformity and strength and a recessed bolt face that locks up inside the counter-bored breech of the barrel, which is surrounded by the receiver, forming "three-rings-of-steel" that enclose the cartridge case head for unparalleled strength. The Model 700 ADL features an improved, ergonomically designed synthetic stock for better handling and enhanced overall functionality. This rifle features a Realtree Hardwoods HD synthetic stock. The rifle is calibered for .300 Winchester ammunition and includes a 3-9x40MM scope that has been mounted and bore sighted. All exterior metalwork features a matte blued finish.

          Would normally give 5 stars, as am happy with other Rem 700 rifles I own. But, had to send gun back after first box. Shells were sticking in the chamber due to tooling marks in the chamber. Remington has gun now. Waiting... Gander Mountain service representatives were more than helpful.

          Great Remington accuracy out of the box, no surprise there. I can't wait to take hunting. I've been swamped at work and I don't think I'll have time this season. I would have liked a removeable mag, otherwise a great rifle for the money.
