I have 4 other 700's...they are all gorgeous BDL's.
I wanted an 06 for ammo compatability with my nephews, so I started looking for another BDL.
Then I found this setup. The boresighted scope was nearly zero'd at 100 yds out of the box. After 2 clicks it was dead on - then the fun began.
Using 150gr premier accutips it shot as well or better than my other 700's.
The best 3 shot 100yd group could be covered with a dime.
It was exactly what I expected: Legendary model 700 accuracy in a durable camo package.
Well worth the coin spent.

There is no second guessing whether the Remington Model 700 ADL 30-06 with the Remington 165 grain core lok will bring down any hog I happen to come across in the river bottom cane brakes or rooting up some farmer or ranchers fields,pastures and meadows. NONE walks away! Close encounters are the norm and Remington reliability keeps me going home unscathed each day...Do yourself a favor and scrap the scope and mounts. Weaver mounts and a good name brand quality scope will save much time on sighting in and many wasted shells. Mounts are very light weight and will not stand the abuse of the -06

I went to go sight this gun in and I couldn't even hit the target at 100 yds. The scope is a piece of trash, they didn't even take the time to put it on straight. I honsestly would have rather bought my own scope.

This is a great gun for the money, I have had the gun for about 5 months now and put about 100 rounds through it. Now the only thing that i dont like about this package is the scope. This thing is just flat terrible i dont think i would sell it because i would feel like i was cheating the buyer. But this gun is truly amazing I love this thing and look forward to getting another for a dedicated range gun but until then this one will more than suffice. Thanks Remington and Gander M ountain for making and supplying a great gun.

Took it to the range right out of the box. Very accurate right away. Was hitting 9's and bull's eye's within 15 min at 100yds.
Got tracking info via email. Picked it up right away. No problems at all with this purchase.

The rifle is fine as for the scope and rings I cant believe Remington put their name on this product.Two out of four scopes on rifles had parts bouncing inside of the scope.After finding one that i thought was good I tested it out at home and it failed after three shots.The scope is pure JUNK.

Bought gun and love the gun itself. The Black Synthetic stock combo is easy to maintain and the gun shoots very well. You just can NOT go wrong with a Rem 700. Was looking at a Tika T3 but decided on this one instead. Gander team was great in selection process. I would have given a 5 but the included scope was simply not that good. Upgraded to a Redfield Revolution - Awesome combination.
