Product Description

The Model 700 is the most popular, reliable, accurate and trusted bolt-action rifle in the world, with over five million rifles produced and billions of rounds fired over nearly five decades. The 700 features a receiver machined from solid-steel bar stock resulting in uniformity and strength and a recessed bolt face that locks up inside the counter-bored breech of the barrel, which is surrounded by the receiver, forming "three-rings-of-steel" that enclose the cartridge case head for unparalleled strength. The Model 700 ADL features an improved, ergonomically designed synthetic stock for better handling and enhanced overall functionality. This rifle is calibered for 7MM Remington Magnum ammunition and includes a 3-9x40MM scope that has been mounted and bore sighted. All exterior metalwork features a matte blued finish.

I have owned several madel 700 through the years as well as Rugers and winchesters. All my other 700 have been BDLs but i have been very impressed with my first ADL. I wanted a rugged gun to take places that i didnt want to take a gun with a beautiful stock and this is the ticket. Gun is very rugged and shot 1/2 groups at 100 yards with regular core-lokts. While unloading is more difficult without the floor plate I purposefully went with one that did not have one b/c that is just one less place for dirt/moisture to hide. If you want the floor plate go with the SPS but if you want a relialble, accurate, take anywhere gun at a good price you will be happy with this purchase.
