Product Description
remington Finally, a youth rifle that doesn't feel like an afterthought. Remington's Model 514 Youth Rifle is a value-priced plinker that's packed with features. The 514 has a 1" shorter buttstock and a 2.1" shorter forend that, coupled with the rifle's special reduced opening force bolt handle, make the 514 perfect for beginning shooters. The 514's single-shot bolt-action design is simple to use and the addition of a secondary trigger safety to the rifle's primary thumb safety is a detail that should help mom sleep better at night. An adjustable rear sight with a ramped front sight add to the 514's targeting precision and every rifle comes drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The black synthetic stock is durable and weatherproof. The entire package weighs in at only 4.25 pounds.

    Purchased this rifle for my daughter to use at the range. Very happy with it. Solid build and good accuracy.

    Finish is a little unrefined but what you would expect on a gun in this price range.

        Bought this rifle to help teach my sons about gun safety and shooting. It is the perfect size for young shooters (fits my 9 year old and 7 year old)and I can have some fun with it too. I debated semi auto vs bolt action and am glad I chose bolt because it slows them down. We were shooting on target at 100 yards with the iron sights. Might look for a scope to add to it down the road
