The clip-fed, 5-shot, bolt-action Springfield Model 1903 was the primary battle rifle of the U.S. military from its introduction up until 1936 and saw action as recently as Vietnam. The Model 1903 was based on a Mauser design, but differs from other rifles of the time by using a two-piece firing pin. This bolt-action rifle features a shrouded blade front sight, an adjusatble ranged rear sight, and a 2-position thumb safety and comes with a bayonet and sheath. Its wood and bore are in good condition and its metal is in very good condition.
