Product DescriptionThe Remington Model 14 is a pump-action repeating rifle designed for the Remington Arms company by John Pedersen and manufactured from 1913 to 1934. The Model 14 design incorporates several innovative concepts including a spiral magazine tube that prevents bullet tips from contacting the primer of the cartridge in front of them. Loading is through an opening in the magazine itself, located between the forend and the receiver and the bolt is unlocked via a button pressed through the ejection port. The Model 14 is a takedown rifle that features a single knurled screw on the left side of the receiver that, when withdrawn, allows the trigger group and buttstock to be removed from the bottom of the gun. This rifle has a ramped front sight, an elevation-adjustable rear sight, and a cross-bolt safety. Its wood and metal are in fair condition and its bore is in good condition.
