Product Description

More than 40 years ago, the Model 1100 was the first autoloader to combine the repeat-shot versatility of early-century models with the sleek, modern lines and handling qualities of revered double barrels and has been a field-proved favorite ever since. Designed as a lightweight utility gun for upland game hunting, the 1100 TUF Gun is also nice to look at thanks to its quality walnut stock and forend with Fleur Di Lis checkering. The dual target-style bead sights help you lock on target quickly and the three included Briley extended choke tubes swap out easily. This Gander Mountain Exclusive 20-gauge has a 28-inch vent rib barrel with a 2-3/4" chamber.

I wanted to upgrade from my single-action 20 gauge to something a little more versatile, and I made a GREAT choice! Both of my grandparents shot skeet with 1100s, and I have been THOROUGHLY enjoying keeping up the tradition! Patterns great, and I CRUSHED the first few dozen birds that came out of the house before I missed one! Haven't taken it out for upland birds, or small game yet, but I can't wait for a chance to put it through its paces out in the field.

A drop of oil in the action before I used it the first time, and cycled 100 shells without a single jam! I haven't had a chance to put anymore shells through it yet, but I don't foresee jams being an issue. Tear-down is very simple, and it cleans up without a fuss.

Wonderful gun, and outshoots my friend's fancy Italian-made every day of the week... although the gun's probably got nothin to do with it, hahaha!

I will use this shotgun for upland game bird hunting with occasional trap and skeet outings. I appreciate the appearance of the fluor de lee checkered stock and the weight and balance of this firearm. Action is smooth and recoil is very manageable. I can't find anything I don't like about it.
