This is not premium ammo. That's why it's cheaper. That being said, it is very reliable and surprisingly accurate. It shoots a little dirty but if you clean your pistola like you should {after each shooting session} it won't be a problem. I've shot a boat-load of UMC through my 45 and have had only one malfunction. GM's free shipping is always a plus. Just try to get all your ammo needs in one order to avoid the surcharge.

I usually buy the 100 round value pack. It always looks good and has no problem with cycling. Great for target practice and home defense.

Simple fix to my problem. PUT IN A BETTER CRIMP! Everyone i chamber it pushes back the bullet noticably. This can easily be a safety hazard. Maybe a bad batch, but 3 boxes bad? This is why I stick to reloading. BTW it was in a Taurus PT1911

I shot 100 rounds of this ammo through my new Ruger SR1911 .45 ACP this past weekend and found it to be reliable, accurate and cost effective. I did find it to be a little bit dirty but.....I clean my firearms after every outing so that doesn't bother me much. My wife was shooting Winchester White Box and they were about the same so again no big deal. Overall I would say it is a great value and we will continue to use this unless I find a reason not too. Meanwhile, Shoot Safe & Have Fun Boys and Girls
