Comments about Remington HyperSonic Steel Shells, 12 Gauge, 3", 1-1/8 oz.:

This stuff knocks 'em dead. Once dropped two Canada Geese from 50 yards with size 4 shot. Both buckled and went straight down and I have go-pro footage on youtube to prove it. Patterns very nice for me but please note that I use an aftermarket choke tube. As to other comments that this ammo will jam in your gun, all I can say is I haven't had that problem. Maybe it's true, maybe not. Let's just say that there's several reasons why some brands of shotguns are more expensive than others, one of them being higher quality components resulting in fewer or no jammed shells. I'm not doing a shotgun review here but mine has gone through thousands of shells from cheap trap loads to 3 1/2" T shot and it has never once jammed on me. My point being that maybe it's the gun (even if it's "new") and not the shells. The one con regarding performance that I have for these shells is that the recoil is pretty hard. I've only shot size 4 in 3 inch and they kick harder than 3 1/2" magnum loads, but I'm willing to live with that considering the end results.

Seems to extend my shooting range better than other shells. Will use these exclusively for 2013 season.
