Product Description
The original controlled-expansion bullet and one of the most effective ever developed. The pointed profile improves velocity and makes for a flatter trajectory. The bullet cores stay "Lokt" in place to provide deep penetration and the jackets are designed for progressive, reliable expansion to almost twice their original diameter. |

Comments about Remington Core-Lokt Pointed Soft Point Ammo:
Avid (sixty years) of deer hunting... Remington is the only name I know in ammunition... If it fails, CHECK your gun!! NEVER, EVER, have I had a misfire!! Hunted bear in Canada without having any reservations about my old Remington 7400 and Core-Lokt ammo.

Comments about Remington Core-Lokt Pointed Soft Point Ammo:
Just picked up two boxes because they were on sale. When I went out to check the zero on my rifle before the whitetail opener the first round was a misfire. I had three more from the fist box that also had bad primers. I will not be using this ammo for deer hunting. I learned my lesson two years ago with this ammo with a really nice buck in front of me and all I got was a click from the rifle. I do not trust Remington ammo because of this.

Comments about Remington Core-Lokt Pointed Soft Point Ammo:
I shot a buck with this ammo at 95 yards with a slight angle away from me. Hit him just behind the last rib bullet came out the front of the left shoulder. Buck did a flip and landed on his back with all four legs kicking in the air. He was dead before I could get another shot into him. It always performs like it should. Not as much money as some of the upper shelf stuff but kills just as dead.

Comments about Remington Core-Lokt Pointed Soft Point Ammo:
I have dropped doe's and buck's in their tracks with this bullet. I like how they mushroom and can expand up to 2x their original size. There is no other bullet i have used besides this one and i don't plan on changing that.
