Q:
I have a 870 wingmaster
I have a remington magnum Wingmaster model 870 it had a 30 inch fixed full choke and the barrel split when I was duck hunting I would like to find a barrel just like it. my only concern is can I find one steal shot compadable or will all barrels be able to handle steel shot. This barrel had a non ventilated rib.
Thanks,
Jake ZaunbrecherAsked on 12/6/2008 by Cajun from Coldwater,MS1 answer

Q:
I have wingmaster 870 my seiral number ends with a "v" is it a magnum receiver or can I use 3" shells if I have a barrel that can acommidate 3" shellsAsked on 12/5/2008 by peanut from Sharpsville, IN1 answer
A:
The opening where the bolt must be at least 3 1/2" long (this is where the shells are ejected from. If the length is only 3 inches then the action is for 2 3/4" shells. A barrel stating for 3" shells will work in a 2 3/4" action but you can only shoot 2 3/4 " shell with itAnswered on 9/6/2010 by newbe from Maryland
