Product Description
remington Outfit your gun with the best possible equipment for zeroing in on targets. Deer slug barrels have front and rear rifle sights or a cantilever scope mount. RemChoke stainless-steel screw-in choke tubes include improved cylinder, modified, and full choke tube.

1100 Steel Shot, used with a non-magnum receiver, shoots 2-3/4" magnum lead or steel or 3" magnum steel shotshells. The 1100 Steel Shot barrel only comes with a RemChoke full choke tube. DO NOT USE 3" magnum lead. Used with a magnum receiver, it shoots 2-3/4" magnum or 3" magnum steel or lead shotshells. Lightweight 1100 20-gauge barrels do not fit pre-1977 20-gauge guns. One-year warranty.

      Purchased this barrel to get more use out of my 1100. Cantilever worked loose after two shots when sighting it in. Took it apart and epoxied it myself. No problems since then. It groups 1" or less at 50 yds. and under 2" at 100 yds.
      Muzzle Rise is kind of extreme. Thinking about porting it.

      Once I received the barrel, the first thing I did was an inspection. Everything looked great until I looked inside the barrel. About 9" from the chamber I saw two dark places on the barrel. After I cleaned, they were still there. I used a bore scope and discover the dark areas were raised gouges in the metal. They were raised enough to catch and stop the scope. Never seen anything like this before. What a real disappointment and shame on Remington's quality control.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
