A:you bet they will. #10 are a tight fit and will jam the cylinder action.Answered on 11/29/2010 by StuRem from Whiteland, IN
A:Use #10 percussion caps on most revolvers. #11 will probably fall off after the first shot. I have an 1858 new army and the #10 work great.Answered on 12/5/2010 by Redeemed from Saint Louis, MO
Q:what is the difference between #11 cap and the number 10 percussion cap.Asked on 11/3/2009 by bal from mi
A:I am told that the #10 is for pistol, & #11 is for rifle which means to me that there should be a power difference as well as a slight size difference. I have seen several items indicating a necessity to use #10 caps on a rifle due to some sort of fitting issue...I have not researched this. I do not plan to do this on purpose. However, use a red hot rifle nipple & #11 primer & should have no problem. I recently bought a box of #10 primers by mistake and will have to use them at the range, or try to. They are supposed to be smaller and therefore may not fire consistently due to priming compound not being ignited with a weaker firing pin/bolt/spring pushing onto a larger nipple.Answered on 11/9/2009 by Dan from Cleveland, TN
Q:will these caps fit a 50 caliber muzzle loaderAsked on 12/9/2008 by Anonymous
A:Not if you have a 209 system or musket nipple. They should fit all standard #11 size nipplesAnswered on 9/28/2009 by brownbess from Texas
