Rapala Glass Shad Rap, 2"

Purchased the smaller glass shad in 'black, and used it for bass, then decided to troll it. It has proven to be my go to lure for northern pike which I enjoy catching. I have also purchased two of the larger lures, one in 'perch' and another 'black shad.' The smaller lure has also proven worthwhile for catching crappies while trolling. The larger lures are great for fall bass fishing. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who likes the shad lures.

The Glass Rap is a great hardbait because when the light hits the lure, it reflects the light back through its prism style design, like a good gemstone, this allows it to put light and shimmers back in its surroundings that both mimic baitfish and attract the attention of predators. The shad colors work best from bright sun to bluebird sky conditions. The hard plastic is durable and casts easily, even when the wind picks up. Quality design means many years of use and lots of opportunities with big fish, always got a spare in the box of each of the shad colors, hate to miss out on the bite, or great to lend that buddy who's getting skunked.
