Comments about Rapala® DT® Classic, 2-3/4":
The Rapala DT 16 series crank bait is one of the best I have ever used for catching bass. The action is great, the hooks are incredibly sharp, and the life like color patterns are out of this world. The bait is easy to fish and it dives to 16 feet just like it is supposed to do. It is definitley my go to bait when fish are hanging out in that 16 foot depth range.

Have not got to fish yet, waiting on camp ground to open for the year. The baits I bought are for summer time deep water bass fishing. Love Gander Mountain [...]

Comments about Rapala® DT® Classic, 2-3/4":
I started using this lure about 8:00am after fishing almost two hours with no success. On the second cast I caught a nice 3 pounder and it caught three more nice fish within the next couple of hours. My new favorite.
Pros
- Gets deep fast
- Targets big fish
- very durable
Cons
- Doesn't get the quantity
Best Uses
- Deep rip-rap
- Drop offs on lake points
Comments about Rapala® DT® Classic, 2-3/4":
Have to very much disagree with the previous review, I have trolled this bait and it has survived banging in the rocks as well as getting slammed by monster pike. But down here in the midwest in Ohio its tough to find a lot of fish to take a bait of this size. so its great to target just big fish.
This bluegill pattern is my favorite. I really really have to disagree with the previous review. rapala does not make inexpensive baits and what you get is usually of great quality.
Pros
- Looks natural
Cons
- Crankbait lip brakes fast
- Expensive
- Paint chips easily
Best Uses
- Don't use around rocks
- Use around grass
Comments about Rapala® DT® Classic, 2-3/4":
When I go out on the lake for a day of fishing, I expect the best out of what I buy. In this tough economic time, I want a crankbait that will last for at least a year or two. Unfortunately this crankbait does not cut it. I would not recommend this bait to anyone.
