I use these clackers when pitching from shore for big pike. They hammer these baits. I have also used these for river drifting for walleye. Overall this is one of my go to favs.

We used this lure on Okeechobee and it killed, the bass love them and it held up well. It casts great , the feather got worn off quick, but it had alot of hookups so I guess it's expected.

The clackin minnow is a decent lure but expensive. I have caught a couple fish on them but one that I purchased and used only 4 times had most of the paint chip off the bottom on one outing. I had to send it back to rapala. For [$] you would think the lure would hold up a little better but maybe it was just that one.

With this new addition to the Rapala line up of "clackin'" crank baits, you can now easily cover the entire water column for whatever game fish you are after. The "clackin' crank" is ideal for targeting suspended walleyes and bass, whether they are close to cover, or targeting bait fish over open water. The lures perform flawlessly, right out of the box, dive to the 3 to 6 foot range, and entice fish with their distinct clackin' sound vibration, which triggers their lateral line senses, making it easy for them to zero in on the lure, whether in clear or murky conditions. With a wide array of color choices, walleye and bass are just a few of the species of fish that can be targeted with this unique and effective new lure. This is likely to be one of your future "go to" lures, one that puts fish in the boat, when others fail. Buy it, try it, and you'll be hooked, along with the fish!
