Comments about Rage X-Treme 2-Blade Broadheads, 100 Grain:

I bought these broadheads recently and was able to harvest a deer yesterday with them. I was amazed with the size of the entry and exit holes. Great blood trail, and the deer only went 10 yards before dropping. These broadheads are great! Another great addition compared to older rage broadheads is the shock ring that holds the blades in until impact.

Comments about Rage X-Treme 2-Blade Broadheads, 100 Grain:

After reading other reviews of Rage broadheads it seems either you love or hate them. I have only have excelent experiences using Rage broadheads and cannot wait to unleash a Rage X-Treme on a buck this season. The biggest complaints I heard about Rage broadheads is poor penetration and the blades opening too easily. I believe that poor penetration is due to todays bows being touting speed and only light arrows accomplish the high speeds. Of course you are going to get poor penetration if you shoot toothpicks compared to shooting telephone poles. I have only had good experiences when I had good shot placement, but just with any other broadhead poor placement usually results in a poor result. With the Rage X-Treme broadheads i have had no problems with the blades opening easily. I have had problems with other Rage broadheads opening, but with the new plastic retainer instead of a o-ring they stay closed no matter how much I shake or bump them. The only problem with the plastic retainer is that they break after each shot, as the are suppose to, and you need to carry extra with you when ever you go out hunting. I would recomend the Rage X-Treme broadhead to anyone that is looking for an exclent broadhead that is shooting a heavier arrow and a bow with the recomended 60 pound or higher draw weight. And finally, remember you are shoting an arrow not a bullet, bone can deflect an arrow on a perfectly placed arrow.
