Product Description
radians These electronic earmuffs protect your ears from harmful noise, while simultaneously enhancing outdoor sounds when you're out in the field. They automatically compress harmful impulse and continuous noises to a safe hearing range below 85 dB, while still allowing normal sounds to be heard without cutting or clipping. Two forward-facing microphones provide accurate directional sound pinpointing to help enhance low-level sounds, while independent volume controls provide customized sound-level control for each earcup. Low-profile earcups do not interfere with gun stocks. Adjustable CoolMax headband wick s away moisture to keep you cool and dry. Earmuffs collapse for easy storage. Two easy-access external battery compartments hold 3 AAA batteries each for up to 280 hours of use. Batteries and replacement microphone covers included. Noise-reduction rating of 23 dB.

            I used these ear muffs mostly for hunting and love them. You sometimes hear a little background humming noise and if it is windy you get a lot of distorted noise from that but I just turn the sound down when that happens. This type of noise will happen with any ear muffs on the market I believe. I made the mistake of wearing them when it was lightly raining and it ruined them so do not use them if there is any moisture in the air. I am replacing the ones I have with another pair though because I like them that much, especially for the price. A great product as far as I am concerned.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            Product work will, fits will. Amplifies sound very will even on lowest volume setting. Block out the loud firearm discharges sounds. Did have static noise in high wind conditions. Good price!

                THESE EARMUFF PROTECTORS WORKED VERY WELL , THE MICROPHONE FEATURE WAS A REAL PLUS , SINCE YOU DID NOT HAVE TO OVER COMPENSATE WHEN TALKING BACK TO ANOTHER PERSON.THEY ALSO DID A GREAT JOB ATTENUATING THE GUN[S] DISCHARGE SOUNDS.

                  with respect to hearing protection using ear muffs,which rating offers more protection a reduction rating of 33dB ,limits applied sound to 82bD or an NNR 20 rating. How do you compare between products when each uses a different standard.

                    The NRR of the item is 23. The microphones cut any noise above 85dB ( 85dB is the level where hearing loss starts to occur ) so the earmuff virtually becomes a passive earmuff and protects your hearing at a NRR of 23 until the harmful noise is gone.
