I have tried on &/or bought numerous other snake protective boots but nothing so comfortable as these. Usually, it takes a while to break in but not these. They are so comfortable that I use them as my regular deer hunting boots as well. The boots are light weight and breathable. Feet don't sweat like other boots I've owned. A great all terrain boot too! Great peace of mind with the rattlers in Eastern Oklahoma! YOU WILL NOT find a better boot for the price!

Comments about ROCKY® ProLight 16" Lace-Up Snake Boot:
These boots maintained their "water proof" ability walking through 6-8 inches of water. My father in law now wants a pair after my feet were dry and his were soaked and cold. They are comfortable right out of the box wearing in the field the first time with no break in. I didn't see any snakes but I'm sure they hold up in that aspect. My only complaint is the laces seem thin to me. I plan to get thicker hiking boot laces if I can find the right length. Just for peace of mind I'll probably give them a coating of water proof spray every now and then to maintain their water proof ability; they aren't lined with gore-tex but for the price I don't think they can be beat. The Gander sales person actually recommended these over several other expensive pairs; I'm glad I listened.

Comments about ROCKY® ProLight 16" Lace-Up Snake Boot:
I purchased these boots because i live in arizona wheres theres alot of rattlesnakes, i mean alot. Im up to 12 in 3 months. They were very well priced and i have had good luck with rocky boots in the past. They were a sore first wear, but now after two coyote trips they feel like they where molded to my feet. They're a little heavy, but thats to me should be expected from a 16 inch high snake proof boot. It has been raining like crazy in arizona and i have tested them in the water and so far ive went home with dry feet. Really good boot for the money

Comments about ROCKY® ProLight 16" Lace-Up Snake Boot:
Used these boots in S. Tx brush. I walked 5 miles the first morning, no problems with boots. I have thick legs, I got rid of my thin zip up boots and went to lace ups, much more comefortable for me. The boots are quiet, light and flexible. I only saw one snake but it did not strike the boots so no info on that. Tall boots gave a lot of protection from thorns also. Glad I had them.

Comments about ROCKY® ProLight 16" Lace-Up Snake Boot:
This is my 4th pair of Rocky Boots. Best Boots Made! I have a pair just like these I have had for years. I loved them so much I order a brand new pair just like them. So if and when my old Rocky boots wear out. I will have a new pair just like them. They are so comfortable when walking in the woods and hunting. I highly recommend Rocky boots. I have tried other brands in the past before I tried Rocky boots. No other boot can compare to the Rocky brand. Give them a try you will not be sorry!

Comments about ROCKY® ProLight 16" Lace-Up Snake Boot:
nice boots, my wife got the rocky swat's and found them hard to lace up and the top of the tongue did not over lap more than 1/4" on either side so i ordered these for her and she like them. got a 7 and a bit big around the ankles for her, usually wears a womens size 6.5 or 7. had to call rocky to see on who the smaller sizes were for and they felt womens sizes
