        I bought one because it was cheap and Quantum has never let me down. The reel i got was a mess, it had a nasty sound when reeling, even after I broke it down and lubed it up with Hot Sauce. I returned it and spent a little more on a Pflueger President.

            This is a great reel for the price. Good for largemouth bass... I catch 3-6 lb bass with this reel, good for pike... 3-10 lbs, and multiple saltwater species, 10 lb bonnethead sharks, 10lb groupers, and 5 lb sheepshead+snappers+spanish mackeral

            Overall its a great reel for the price and tangle rarely. It will handle good size fish.

            Over all this is a pretty nice reel. The crank bearings are a little sloppy but still smooth. I use it on my 6' medium/fast action rod for vertical jigging.
