Comments about Pyle PLMRA120 2-Channel 240-Watt Amplifier:
I bought this amp to power a pair of small marine subwoofers I had mounted in my Polaris ranger. It was easy to install and mounted under the dash easy. The amp powered the speakers just fine and really made the system sound good. After having it for about a week, I went on a ride. Everything worked great and sounded good. Next day I hosed off the ranger and sprayed the amp a little also without realizing it. I figured it would be fine since it was a marine grade. But the amp never worked again. I have a different amp on the way. Maybe since its also a marine grade it can stand a splash of water.

Comments about Pyle PLMRA120 2-Channel 240-Watt Amplifier:
Could not believe the quality for the price. We installed on a boat so needed a ground loop isolator for the engine noise, but once that was connected.. Couldn't believe it. Great price, great product couldnt be more pleased.

Q:
I want to add a subwoofer to my car stereo (or maybe 2 separate speakers dedicated to bass response. Can this be powered from the preamp out plugs on my stereo and wired for one woofer? Od do I need two?Asked on 1/29/2012 by Anonymous0 answers
Q:
I have a'07 Moomba LSV with the standard Kenwood stereo and 6 speakers, with no amp. Will this amp give me slightly more volume but without the distortion? Also what is the ground loop someone was talking about in their review/Asked on 1/17/2010 by Anonymous from Rossford, Ohio1 answer
A:
I would go with a higher channel amp. This is only a 2 channel amp, therefore in ideal condition, you would hook this to 2 speakers. You can do 3 speakers per channel, but not sure on distortion. Its worth a shot, but you may want to consider a 6 channel amp.Answered on 7/12/2010 by skip from Hanford, Ca
Q:
My boat has 4 existing 6.5 speakers, adding big wakeboard speakers. Can this unit power all or only 2.also what about if I add a sub? T/UAsked on 5/19/2009 by bushwacker1 answer
A:
This is a small amp and will not accommodate all of your speakers. For a good sound you could only hook up one speaker (bridged) or two speakers one to each channel. If you double up 2 speakers to one channel it may not sound as clear as it should.Answered on 1/27/2011 by Technician from Overton's
