            I haven't installed out in the boat yet, but I did wire it up to a12 volt power supply and it works fine. Don't forget to hit the reset button on the front panel when you finish installing the radio. Pulls in radio stations no problem

                Great product for the money. Remote control for easy and simple control. The external RCA cables allow provisional additions of amplifiers. The look is great with soft blue lighting for great night boating. The USB, AUX, CD and radio allow for unlimited sources of music.                   For starters, this set comes with a lot for the money. But remember that you get what you pay for... I installed in my pontoon and it worked well in the driveway. When I took it to the lake, it quit. The remote works occasionally if you hold it an inch from the radio and keep hitting buttons. Basically it looks nice but functionality is nonexistent.

                          Sorry forgot the speaker wire portion of your question. Yes it comes with about 10 ft of wire for each speaker with the connectors installed. If you install on a pontoon boat you will have to do as I have and purchase more wire since the amount of wire in the package is way too short for the set up.
