- Prop Puller
Comments about National Products Pro-Pull Prop Tool Only:
Prop puller slipped right over the prop of my Moomba. Had to mess around with the little spacer supplied to get it to fit properly. Once I got it on I cranked it down as tight as I could get it and let it sit while I took a propane torch to the prop itself after about 60 seconds the prop popped right off. Very easy to use.

Q:
I'm running a 14" prop which means that it measures 7" from the center to the outside edge of the fin. I don't see how this tool could slip around the shaft on the fork end, get around the fin, and have the bolt hit the middle of the threaded end of the shaft. Is there somebody out there that could enlighten me?Asked on 6/18/2012 by Randy from Salt Lake City, Utah1 answer
A:
Pullers fit between the blades of the prop. The more blades, the narrower the puller needs to be. This one is pretty flat, so it should work on almost anything. I have one that looks just like this, and I used it to pull a 12.5 inch, 15.5 pitch, 4 blade prop off a 2002 Nautique.Answered on 10/23/2012 by GS from Vancouver, BC, Canada
