I put this on my 94' Bayliner and I was Very impressed! It only took me about 10 min. to install the unit on my battery coming from the ignition. (I called up BLI International for install on numerous batteries) Everything was working good, so I thought... But them I left my boat parked for 3 weeks and the battery was completely dead! The unit let it die! So I called BLI again to ask them why I was having this problem and found out that I left my GPS and FishFinder on the battery which drained it down to the degree that the unit disabled, but the accesories were still on the battery NOT the unit, so that is why it drained so low. They told me that ALL accesories have to go through the unit in order for it to do its job. I did that and it has been working perfect ever since. Found out that all that I had to do was call.

I followed the instructions and installed the product which took less than 10 minutes. The unit made a sound and the LED light came on when I connected the final ground wire as per the instructions. I drove the boat across the lake and dropped anchor. When I tried to restart the boat fifteen minutes later, everything was dead. I turned on the bilge, no luck. Then I tried the blower, no luck. Nothing would wake the unit back up. I still had the wrench so I disconnected the unit and then the battery and boat worked just fine. I left the unit lying on the floor of the boat otherwise; I would have shipped it back.
