A:any night time varmint hunting; as with any light with cables & clip mounts, you must be a little more careful hunting racoon in the woods but we use them hunting coyote, fox, bobcat; even use them fishing & training dogs at night in the off (chase) seasonAnswered on 4/5/2011 by JeremiahJohnson from Hills of Virginia
Q:how much does the ligth weight? And what is the demensions?Asked on 12/26/2008 by Anonymous
A:The light weighs 3 and 1/2 pounds with the battery pack. The height is 3 inches from the base, 2 and 1/2 inches deep, and the lens is 2 and 1/2 inches in diameter.Answered on 1/7/2009 by Bradley from Gander Mountain
A:It's not very heavy as it's made out of plastic. But the light is top heavy and will rotate around the rifle scope as the clip on scope attachement won't hold it tight.
The battery is not very heavey either. I weighted in on my postal scales and it weights 114.2 oz with the carrying case on the battery. This included the short wire with the paired connector at the end.
The light itself comes with a red lense that's use to cover the front plastic clear lense.
Hope this helps.
I have the 6 volt 250 yard model.
The 12 volt battery may be a bit heavier. That the 350 yard model that uses the 12 volt battery and the 12 volt light bulb.Answered on 1/18/2009 by Moose1am from Evansville, IN Area
