We use these lights hunting, fishing, camping, around the house & emergency backup lights in place of flashlights. Fits snugly on all 1" scopes we use, clip-on attachment makes them quick & easy to swap out between rifles - 8 different ones with no problems slipping/or moving around like others list here. We even sometimes mount them to the side for personal preference. Think they may have just gotten a loose one if it came that way. Between friends & family we have 10 & no problems at all, ever. Broke a lens when I dropped one, called Primo & Rand sent one out the same day to be here the next day, no problems; great customer service & satisfaction. Hunting varmints, coyote, fox, bobcats & racoon; I've found none better, especially for the price. Easy adjusments & bulb/lense replacement. Very versatile, had friend who is electrician help out making some adjustments for maximizing performance. Batteries last good while using to spot & scan, original batteries are now 4 years old & still going strong!

I purchased one of these and tried to mount it on my 1" OD Burris Full Field II Scope. The clip on attachment does not have any grip and the light will not stay in place. It will rotate around the scope as the clip is not strong enough to attack it securely to the 1" OD rifle scope.

I tried to put some cloth tape on the scope to make the connection have more friction so that the light would not fall over. The plastic clip is slipper on it's inside diameter and the scopes metal surfaces are slick also which does not make for a good contact between the two surfaces.

The ligtht itself is pretty good but if it won't stay up while hunting (especially at night) it's worthless to me.

Compare this lights clip on connector with the LightForce connector which can be screwed tightly in place.

Now for Larger Diameter Scopes they make an adaptor but I can't see how it fits onto the light. I think the adaptor for larger scopes will fit completley around the scope.

The clip for the lights only covers about 3/4 of the 1" od type scopes. That's the problem

When they redesigned the light's scope connection to make it more secure they will have a useful product.

I took my light back.

Now the smaller 100 yard light is not so top heavy and it will stay in place on the top of the scope much better. It's the taller lights 250 yard type that fall over to easily.

This is an honest review from someone who has bought and used these products.

The first light of these type I bought had a defective power charger and battery so I returned it for a refund. I decided that I wanted another light and another battery and charger so I got another of the 100 yard type lights. I still have my 250 yard light which runs off the same 6 volt battery and has the same charger.

The new lights come with a battery carrying package that's made of thicker material than the ones sold last year. The battery pouch is made of a heavy thread type material which is a lot nicer and sturdier that the orginals.
