primos Pre-configured with optimal default settings, the Truth Cam 35 from Primos could be the easiest-to-operate camera ever developed without sacrificing performance. The Truth Cam allows you to adjust the amount of active LED's so you can have extreme night time range and even longer battery life. This camera features a 3.0-MP resolution and a 35-LED bank that allows quality image capture out to 40 ft in all lighting conditions. All settings, including camera resolution, are adjustable for optimal performance. This camera features a 1.5 second trigger speed (0.3 second when camera is not in sleep mode). Molded security cable hole through case provides theft prevention. Supports up to 8 GB SD card. Protected by a 1 year warranty.

    This product for the money was well worth it, we are running 3 on our land. I bought the first one for my father who is in his 50's, not very computer savy, he is able to use and set up with ease. The SD card fits right into his digi cam. so he can check the pics in the feild. They are well worth the money, and have had no problems with weather. We have them mounted with the swivel you can buy from Primos and cable locked. I really love these, and just about everything primos makes is great quaility and does what it says.

And their STANDARD Warranty is only 6 months unless you register your camera online. But they advertise a 1 Year WarrantyI expected better from Primos!

          This is a very good camera. I own two of them and I will be picking up three more before this fall. I use my trail cams as a scouting tool. This camera will give you a lot of bang for your buck. I did have an issue on the very first one I had. I called there customer service people, explained that I had no receipt of the purchase. They were awesome. I sent it back to them and they delivered to me a brand new one still in the child proof plastic package. Buy this camera.

              Using to catch wildlife on our property. So far just the family dog and a stray cat. Picture quality is great. Very sensitive to tree branches blowing in wind. We love it.

                  I have been using the primos truth cams for about a month.I am very happy with daytime pic quality and speed.Night shots seem to be good up to twenty feet then gets falls off.Trigger speed is exellent!You need to point these cams either north or south as the rising/setting sun and shadows tend to trigger false shots.Overall,very satisfied with this product and will be purchasing more.

                      This camera takes great pictures day and night. I had to send mine back after 6 months. They sent me back a new one in 2 weeks. My biggest complaint is the noise it makes when it takes a picture.

                            I have had mine setup in only sub freezing temps so maybe as low at 10-20 degrees...but its also been out in snow, sleet, and 1/2 inch think freezing rain and still looks and performs great.

                            Yes, in fact it doesn't even need to be formatted before using it...I had a card half full from other cameras and all this did was create a new folder on the card to store the photos.

                            You cannot adjust the delay from the detection of motion to the taking of a picture. That's about 1.5 seconds. You can set the delay between the taking of one photo or group of photos until the next time the camera triggers. This is switch selectable, and the options are: 10 seconds, 1 minute, and 30 minutes.

                            Standard power is four alkaline D-Cell batteries, which are loaded internally. I don't know if it has an external connection for a separate battery, nor what voltage would be required if that is so.

                            Yes the unit has an external jack for 6V external power as well. I have not used the external power yet, I have external battery bag for all my 12V cameras, so now I have to get a 6V bag for these.
