Comments about Primos Compact Monopod 62" Trigger Stick:
I HAVE HAD THIS TRIGGER STICK FOR OVER 2 YEARS AND FIND IT GREAT FOR HUNTING AND JUST SHOOTING. IT WORKS GREAT AS A WALKING STICK WHEN YOU ARE STILL HUNTING THROUGH THE WOODS.AJUSTS VERY FAST AND SILENTLY, SO NOT TO ALARM THE GAME. I HAVE TRIED MANY OTHERS BUT, BY FAR THIS IS THE BEST ONE FOR THE MONEY. I LIKED IT SO MUCH I BOUGHT ONE FOR MY SON AND SON-IN-LAW FOR CHRISTMAS...

Comments about Primos Compact Monopod 62" Trigger Stick:
ok. this is my first shooting stick, but ive tried a few of my friends, and a few in the stores. this is probably the best i have tried. gets you to the height you need to be quickly.
the only issues i have are:
1. its noisy. if you have any of the 3 sections collapsed into each other, when you jar the thing into the ground. no harder than you would a hiking pole/stick, it makes a rattling noise. it is avoidable if you know its there, but it does make noise. however, so does every other one ive tried. i wish they would find away to avoid this.
2. the wrist strap. it doesnt adjust. there is a little plastic piece that looks like it should adjust it to fit snug on your wrist.. it doesnt.
3. the strap that i presume is made to go over your gun falls off to easily. im sure ill loose it within the next couple uses. no biggie. i dont really use it.
finally, while this is now a must have in my arsenal.. i have found the stick less usefull than i thought it would be. this would be the case with all shooting sticks, others more so, in fact... here is why.. while seated or still its great. time to set it up and time to get onto the game. if you are stalking, or "still" hunting, however, i find it to get in the way. most of the time you need to take a quick shot in this scenerio. without the stick, you can bring up the gun and shoot. real quickly. the trigger stick takes a couple seconds to use. even with the trigger. fine. you have to take a couple more seconds for a stable shot. but if you dont have those seconds, you dont really have an option to not use the stick. drop it and it makes noise. keep it in your hand, and its cumbersome to hold the gun... i havent found an option to carry this and not use it. so you have to decide.. walk with it out and take the couple extra seconds to use it when you see the game, or put it in your backpack and be able to quick draw. there is no option to make that decision when faced with the scenerio. maybe i will figure that out the more i use it..
