I use all the different weights on all my reels. Strong enough to do an emergency repair on a tent and boat tarp, so i keep a spool of 12LB in my tool and tackle boxes.

Lite weight, doesn't tangle easily, line flows like water when cast, practically invisible, really durable so I don't have to change it as often.

Have to go to a major store to find it.

Comments about PowerPro Fishing Line 150 yds., Moss Green:

Kicks spiderwires butt. Have two poles--St. Croix Avid Series and St. Croix Mojo Bass. The avid series has the new spiderwire camo braid and the mojo has the power pro line. Every second cast the avid series' line gets in knots, slips off finger while casting, and knots within the reel. And, on the mojo bass pole the line works without flaw--no knots, no problems, end of story. Also, as a side note, the avid series pole is not only a better pole than the mojo bass, but has a better reel, and still performs much worse due to the line. all in all, power pro is the way to go!

If you are looking for a line that is tough and you fish in tough spots look no more. This line has all the needs for you no bull, make sure you follow instructions in supplied book with line. Put a mono backing on reel and tie your Power Pro on with a uni-not and I hope you got a strong rod because this line is tough.

What is the correct way to put line on ones spinning reel off the spool of line you just brought? Do you have the spool of line laying down with the line coming off the spool off the right or do you flip it over to the left side? One more, put pencil through the hole and let the line come off the spool from the top or bottom? Kerry Smith PS I have power pro line

In general use the pencil method with the line coming off the bottom of the spool, thread it through only one eyelet the one closest to the reel. The PowerPro box allows you to hold it between your knees to control the resistence while you spool your reel. To be technically correct you should first use mono or fluorocarbon to cover the base of the spool just one layer is suffecient. this prevents the braid from slipping. Tie to the spool using an arbor knot and connect the lines using a uni knot. Good Luck.

Lay it on its side. U should have the line coming off the spool in the same direction as the real takes it. This will keep memory to a min.
