This is my first box of bullets so I dont have anything to compare it to but, so far not to impressed. Great on accuracy. I did shoot a deer at about 60 yards, hit him in the front shoulder, and the bullet did not go through. No blood trail except from about 20ft from where we found him. When processing the deer found 1/2 of the bullet and 5 fragments of shell in the meat. So I guess it did it's job but I dont like how it come apart. Dont know if it was becouse were I hit him or if the bullet is suposta come apart. I still have half a box to shoot.

Comments about CVA PowerBelt AeroTip Copper Series .50-Caliber Bullets, 245-gr, 15-pack:
I have used these projectiles for deer hunting in Maine, New Hampshire and Maryland for several years with excellent success. They are easy to load, very acurate, and deadly. They work very well in my Ruger 77/50 using 245gr Aero Tip.

Comments about CVA PowerBelt AeroTip Copper Series .50-Caliber Bullets, 245-gr, 15-pack:
Very, very accurate. There is no pattern at fifty yards with a CVA muzzleloader. I got the cheapest CVA gun they sell and I can put them all in the same hole! Shot a whitetail at about thirty yards. The deer was 1/4 away. Put the shot behind the shoulder in the ribs. Blood shot both front shoulders. One entry hole and four or five exit holes. The deer managed to go about 70 yards somehow. The deer here are small. I would only use this on large deer or other large animals. Unless you do not care about the meat or you get a flat side shot. The bullet parts just went everywhere after hitting the ribs. But it hit exactly where I was aiming and killed the deer!

Comments about CVA PowerBelt AeroTip Copper Series .50-Caliber Bullets, 245-gr, 15-pack:
I started useing these bullets some three years ago because the sabot loads were very hard to load, especially after the first shot. I find these bullets to penetrate very well. I feel these bullets are a little pricey but what isn't these days.
