Product Description
taylor_made Made for the pontoon boater, this kit includes an injection-molded black nylon mount that attaches easily to the top of your pontoon railing and features a 10º presentation angle. The 3/4"-diameter bright dipped anodized aluminum pole simply snaps into the base. Comes complete with a sewn 16" x 24" US flag and Charlevoix flag clips. Socket with 30" pole.

                      The pole is easily removable. I actually had a harder time inserting the flag into the mount the first couple of times, because I am arthritic, but I had no trouble removing it. When we are not on board, we store the flag, and it is my "job" to set it up each time... it is easy!

                      It depends on how customized the cover is i.e. exact fit, semi-custom, universal. However, as easy as it is to remove the pole, there is no reason to risk damage by leaving it in the mount when covering the boat.
