It was extremely stiff to flip up and down. I actually had to file down the lobe somewhat so that it could be flipped up. The base is much thicker than my old unit requiring longer strews to mount to the transom of the boat. I'd try a different brand next time.

Pros
- Easy To Install
- Robust Construction
Cons
- Assembled Incorrectly
- Cam Lobe Required Sanding
Best Uses
- Small Boats
Comments about Teleflex Pitot Tube Assembly:
Price point is good. Quality assurance by manufacturer lacking, unit assembled incorrectly. Luckily, it could be disassembled after receipt and corrected. Cam lobe required adjustment by lightly sanding lobe. The overall thickness of the plastic guarantees that this product is less likely to crack/break if knocked.
