Its a great reel and has a very good rod tip senstivity just has bad eyes that pop out. I exchanged 2 for 2 different eye problems. 1 was the top eye and the next was the 2nd eye popped out. Its the first rod by this brand that i have had any problems with.

I actually bought the 1st combo for myself and never got to use it. My wife picked it up and started using it and loved it, so I had to buy myself another one. This is a great combo, easy to handle for me and my wife.

Comments about Pflueger Trion GX7 Freshwater 1-Piece Spinning Combo, 6'6", Medium:
This is the first rod that I have ever bought myself. Have used dozens or rods/reels that belonged to family members who are avid fishers. When I first ordered the 6'6" M (1 piece) combo and received it in the mail I thought I was going to hate it. I almost sent it back before I tried it. I had been using a reel with a quick cast trigger and had gotten used to it. Once I got on the water with this combo I was hooked! It casts perfectly with just a light flick (I usually do an over-head cast). I will be buying more of these combos. The only "con" I can come up with, since I had been fishing with a reel that would rotate itself so the trigger/line would line up with the rod for faster casting is the fact that you have to pay attention to where your line is to set up a cast. However, the way the reel is designed it DOES allow for you to set your hook/lure faster since the reel does not have to go back to the "casting" position.

Comments about Pflueger Trion GX7 Freshwater 1-Piece Spinning Combo, 6'6", Medium:
This rod is great. I caught a 19" largemouth bass that weighed 4.5 lbs and it lasted throughout the whole fight. I've caught many other fish with it and it hasn't failed yet.
