Lightweight one-piece graphite frame and side plates. Machined, ported, and anodized aluminum spool. Smooth multi-disc main gear applied star drag system. Titanium line guide and thumb bar spool release. Right-hand retrieve. Combo includes an IM8 graphite rod with split-grip cork handle.

    This combo won't let you down. Everything is at your advantage when using this from the durability to the great sensitivity to feel bites, vegetation, cover, and structure, and this will keep your fishing skills at their best. Everything on the combo is either Stainless Steel, Aluminum, or Titanium besides the cork handle. The reel is very smooth and strong. There are no worries when it comes to weight, this combo is very light and feels comfortable. I caught 36 Large Mouth Bass that were all over 3 pounds in less than 2 hours. Overall no regrets and recommended.

      I've had this combo for two years now as a back-up for an abu garcia round real combo. I love the low profile reel and the rod action (MH) is great for spinner baits and crank baits or heavier jigs. I have caught many largemouth bass as well as other species. The rod handles well and I couldn't ask for more for the money. I now take this combo along with the abu combo every time I go fishing.

                the gears striped out on our fifth trip. set the hook on a two pounder and the thing started reeling backards. took it apart and found lost of plastic parts. not worth fixing because the rod is cheaply made also.

                      this is an absolutely great combo! i bought this a few months back and have since hooked a 6lb 12oz largemouth off a spinner bait and a 4lb 9oz off top water and this combo was hungry for more! i had 14lb test and didnt like the casting...changed to 12lb...PERFECT!
